Frederick R. Cullis, President Fred’s early career launched him into an international business position with Permacel, an industrial division of Johnson & Johnson, enabling him to learn the intricacy and complexity of global commerce and economics. This position took him to major economic centers including Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Australia, Europe, Great Britain, Canada and Mexico. Other past positions with Permacel and Allied Signal include Director of Sales and Marketing, Product Manager, Market Research Manager, International Sales Manager and Sales Representative.
As an entrepreneur running his own Manufacturers Rep business, located in Delaware, since 1991, Fred understands careful contemplation when taking risks. Pursuing a common sense approach, the mission of Cullis Associates is to bring regional industries and advanced manufacturers together to develop solutions to complex problems. Operating Parameters Cullis Associates, Inc. represents manufacturers of custom-engineered industrial products for a variety of specialty applications. Our sales approach is to identify customers with specific needs for the products we represent. We then fill that need by applying the special capabilities of our clients to develop solutions that are unique to each customer. Most products sold are customer specific and carry their own formulation or blueprint. We coordinate communications and activities throughout the entire process of finding solutions to a customer's problems. These include product development, establishing budgets and price, trial runs, product testing, forecasting and finally, order entry. In-depth selling allows us to monitor on-going performance at each customer to insure continued customer satisfaction.
Product Types Represented The companies we represent produce specialty industrial products that are sold and used at the OEM level. Customer contacts are primarily within the R&D and engineering departments to insure product performance and value while eliminating opportunities for competitive generalists.
Geography Agency personnel are strategically located to insure easy access to our full area of responsibility. Our territory includes New Jersey, Metropolitan New York City, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
